Construction Management Plans
Construction Management Plans are often a legal requirement due to a condition being placed on a planning application. A CMP will include a Site Waste Management Plan, which can be seen by clicking on the link below.
A Construction Management Plan is a document that addresses every aspect of building a project. The plan must satisfy the requirements of the permitting bodies, and the parties the project is being built for. It should detail every aspect of the construction, including access routes and timings for construction traffic, construction drawings, permits, safety, waste management, environmental, costs, schedule, construction personnel activities, project authority etc.
With this plan the on-site project management can oversee every detail of the project, including emergency response and project change procedures.
Construction Management Plans should include some or all of the following:
a) Site location and boundaries
b) Contacts and Responsibilities
c) Traffic Management Plan
d) Materials and Waste Storage areas
e) Site layout
f) Environmental Permitting
g) Pollution Prevention and Control of Emissions to Water, Land and Air
h) Construction Lighting, Noise & Vibration
